Donna Leamy is a scientist from Limerick who writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
I’m a scientist that somehow morphed into a risk manager but really I’m a wannabe writer. Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction or poetry, my writing tends to predominantly focus on themes such as resilience and rising above adversity and underestimation. As a proud Limerick woman I’m obviously into rugby, but I’m also a chocolate and animal lover. It’s a great privilege to be a part of this project and as daunting as it is, I am looking forward to the adventure. You’ve got to embrace vulnerability and put yourself out there at some stage. Yikes!
